"Metal Detector Professional" utilizes a built-in magnetic sensor to locate metal objects.

How does it work?

Our tool measures the electromagnetic field (EMF) value in your surroundings through the use of a magnetometer. The current value of the field is displayed in microteslas (µT). The Earth's magnetic field induction typically ranges from 30 to 60 µT. If the intensity goes above 60 µT, it may indicate the presence of ferromagnetic materials (metallic objects) nearby. Armed with this information, you can attempt to locate wires within walls and metallic objects underground.

Important:

This app can only detect ferromagnetic metals. It will not detect gold, silver, or copper coins, as they are classified as non-ferrous and lack a magnetic field.

In addition to providing the current µT value, this tool displays a chart with measurements from the past 15 seconds and presents the minimum and maximum detected magnetic field strengths. You have the option to reset these readings at any time.

How should you prepare your phone?

It's important to note that this tool relies on a built-in magnetic field sensor, which not all phones are equipped with. Please check your phone's specifications to determine if it has this sensor. Furthermore, the accuracy of measurements may be affected by electronic devices such as TV sets or PC screens. To ensure accurate readings, it's best to avoid using this application around such devices. Additionally, some phone cases may contain metallic parts, which should be removed before using the application.

How do you calibrate your phone?

Before using the metal detector, it is necessary to calibrate it. To do so, start the application, raise the phone high, and "draw" the number 8 pattern in the air. Once calibrated, you are ready to begin exploring with the metal finder.
